It was in November 1977 that the Malankara Syrian Orthodox Church members in Bahrain came together under the leadership of late Fr. P. K. Babu Paraikulath forming a prayer group at his residence. The spade work of the handful members of that time gave fruits, and eventually more members joined the prayer group and it grew exponentially.
